The Stephen Thomas Memorial Bursaries
Friends and former colleagues wish to establish two bursaries as a
memorial to Stephen, with the full support of the Thomas family:
The Stephen Thomas Bursary in Computer Sciences at
Queens College, Cambridge, to assist graduate
students. Stephen studied at Queens' and had recently renewed his
involvement with the College, intending to become an active fund raiser for
them.
The Stephen Thomas Sailing Bursary to enable needy 16 to 20
year olds to sail on Gipsy Moth IV once
restoration is complete. Stephen had contributed to the restoration fund and
would have endorsed broadening access in this way.
Pledges of support, of whatever size, for either memorial bursary would be greatly
